My Recent Series of Paintings
Lately, I’ve wanted to get back to the basics. Painting. I left it for a very long time and at this time in my life I feel I really need to get back to it. I’ve been using this damn computer for so long I forgot what it was like to hold a brush or a pencil in my hand! Don’t get me wrong, I love technology–my career calls for me to be up on the latest and greatest in technology, but there’s just something about using a brush or a pencil that a mouse just can’t offer. If I think about why I even got interested in this field, it was because I was in love with real art. I didn’t fall in love with the computer. Anyway…I’ve started a series of paintings that I’m catergorizing as ‘Pop Art’. I’m attempting to use my background and skills in Graphic Design in a medium where I can combine those with Fine Art.
